Non Gamstop Casinos is an independent research site for adults in the UK who want to understand casinos not on GamStop before they decide whether to use one. We review operators, explain bonus terms, payments and withdrawals in plain English, and point out the legal and personal risks. This page explains who we write for, how we assess casinos, and where our limits are.

What we do and who we write for

Our readers are over 18 and mostly in the UK. Some know the industry well. Others have never read a wagering requirement. We assume no prior knowledge, and we try not to talk down to anyone.

The site covers:

  • casino reviews and top lists, including newer sites outside the GamStop scheme;
  • bonus mechanics: welcome bonuses, deposit bonuses, free spins, cashback, wagering, game contribution, maximum bet limits, expiry dates and cashout caps;
  • payments: minimum deposits, GBP accounts, debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, PayPal availability, cryptocurrency, fees and currency conversion;
  • withdrawals, identity checks and what to do if a payout is disputed;
  • games and sports betting, from slots and live dealer tables to accumulators and cash-out.

Our main guide is Non GamStop Casinos – Best Online Casinos UK. This page is about us, not the casinos.

Commercial disclosure

We may earn a commission if you sign up with an operator through a link on this site. That does not buy a place in our rankings, and operators cannot pay for a better rating or a better write-up. Our Terms and Conditions set out how the site may be used.

How casinos are assessed

We have not played at, deposited with or withdrawn from any casino for these pages, and we do not claim to. Our assessments come from research: reading each operator's published terms, checking licence information it states, comparing advertised offers, and reviewing the policies on payments, verification and complaints. We use the word "verified" only where we have checked a point against a source, and we say when something is advertising rather than confirmed.

FactorWhat we look for
Licensing and ownershipWhich overseas licence is stated, who the operator says owns the site, and whether that can be checked
Bonus termsWagering requirement, game contribution, maximum bet, expiry and cashout limit, set beside the headline offer
PaymentsMinimum deposits, GBP support, fees, conversion costs and availability for British customers
WithdrawalsStated processing times, limits, and KYC and source-of-funds requirements
Games and bettingSlots, jackpots, live dealer, table games, sportsbook depth and software providers
Support and complaintsContact options and the stated route for escalating a dispute
Player protectionDeposit and loss limits, self-exclusion tools and links to support organisations

The editorial ratings on our cards are our own judgement of these factors. They are not customer-review scores. Advertised speeds and offers are advertising until we say otherwise. Time-sensitive findings carry a date, and this page was last fact-checked on 1 October 2026.

The casinos we currently feature

Our publisher selects the casinos in our lists, and we review them. At the time of writing the top ten are Betmica, Kikibet, Betninja, WinnerIsland, Zombillion, Smash Casino, Nightluck, CoinPoker, Rivo and Daytonaspin. Here is how the first three stand.

Betmica

Betmica is ranked first with an editorial rating of 10.0. Its advertised offer is a 570% welcome bonus up to £5,700 plus 270 free spins. That is a large headline figure, and large bonuses usually come with demanding wagering and cashout conditions. The limitation is that those terms must be read in full before you deposit, because the percentage says nothing about how achievable it is.

Kikibet

Kikibet is rated 9.9. It advertises 350% up to 5,555 £ and 300 free spins. It stands out for the free spin count, but the offer applies only to new customers who deposit, and the wagering and expiry details determine its value. The main drawback is the same as for any large package: bigger sums attract tighter conditions.

Betninja

Betninja is also rated 9.9, with a £1,000 bonus and 100 free spins advertised for new players. The offer is quoted in pounds, which is simpler for a British reader than a euro or dollar figure. The limitation is that the smaller spin count and the unstated terms mean you should still check the wagering and maximum bet rules.

Some other casinos on our list quote offers in euros or dollars, so check currency conversion costs and whether a GBP account is available before you commit.

What "not on GamStop" means, and the risks

GAMSTOP is the national self-exclusion scheme for online gambling licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, which regulates gambling in Great Britain. Casinos not on GamStop usually hold overseas licences, such as those from Curaçao, and are not part of that scheme. Accepting British customers is not the same as being authorised to serve them under UK rules.

In practice, that can mean fewer of the protections you may expect from a UK-licensed site, including mandatory GAMSTOP checks, UKGC complaints routes and its standards on advertising and affordability. Disputes can be harder to resolve. We explain these points in our guides so that you can decide with full information. If you have registered with GAMSTOP, it is there to protect you, and using a site outside it defeats that purpose. We do not encourage anyone who has self-excluded to look for ways around it.

Staying in control

Gambling is entertainment, not income or a solution to money problems. You can lose money, and no casino is completely safe or guarantees withdrawals or winnings. Set deposit and loss limits, use blocking software if you need it, and take breaks. Our Responsible Gambling page lists tools and support, including GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Check these details on the GamCare website as they may change.

Corrections and contact

If you spot an error, an outdated offer or a term that differs from what an operator now publishes, tell us through our Contact Us page. We will review and correct it. We will not remove a rating because an operator asks us to, but we will update facts that are wrong.
